£3000 reached! (vid)

This morning was a tough, windy, wet and painful session. The boat was mostly submerged throughout and I only stopped once the boat was full with water.

Training for The Solo Sea to City Row has been the toughest physical challenge I've ever put myself through and it's only going to get tougher up until the challenge in September, but that's always been the whole point. It's also been extremely personal.

Every step of the way I've been truly astounded by the support that's come from all of you and even from total strangers...it's that support that makes the aches, pains, early mornings and late nights all worthwhile, and keeps me going through every pain barrier I've come to. After donations settled down at around £2,400 (it's ok- it's to be expected!), this week suddenly took a turn with some very generous donations and I'm amazed to say we've hit £3,000!

You lot are amazing, thank you for your support so far.
