Training Begins

It's GO TIME. Kicking off training with a 10k run along the Thames and excited to see things get underway.

I'm already grateful to a handful of people who are making this possible through their involvement. There are many more hurdles to cover outside the training, so I hope to see good progression in these areas in the next couple of weeks. It's been 14 years (!) since I rowed at university in Montreal, and I've never rowed in a single scull before, but I will make this happen. I've got a long way to go, but this marks the beginning of something very special to me.

I'll be using this blog to give regular updates of my training on the water, in the gym and elsewhere, with the aim of giving a real look into what's involved in the lead up to the challenge. If you'd like to receive fortnightly updates by email (and I'd love it if you would!), you can register at the bottom of the page.
